    Kell Brook leaves Dominic Ingle

Brook, who is attempting to seal a fight with Amir Khan, is now without a coach as he trains alone on several Instagram posts.

WBN understands the split happened earlier this week, just a short time after Billy Joe Saunders was stripped of his WBO middleweight title for failing a drugs test.

In another move, Brook is considering trialling a partnership with former boxer and friend John Fewkes.

Fewkes, also from Sheffield, retired in 2014 following a 25-fight career. Failing to win the English title, Fewkes hung up the gloves in his 20’s on the back of a decade-long career.

The now 33 year-old is in Brook’s thoughts at his Spanish training base, with the one-time welterweight champion set to decide if the pair have a future.
    FEWKES
Linking with Fewkes could be seen as an eyebrow-raising move for Brook, should it eventually become permanent.

The would-be mentor blamed the downfall of his career on ‘pies and pints’ in a previous interview last year.

Speaking to Bob Westerdale of the Sheffield Star in March 2017, Fewkes admitted his love for booze and food played a part in him not reaching the top – domestically.

“I messed up. I was not shy of a pie and a pint or two when I was training so I went from boxing at 10 stone to walking around at 15 and a half stone,” stated Fewkes.

“My sport science was a tin of tuna when I was tarmacing rather than a bacon sandwich. But then I had a bacon sandwich after!”

Specifically mentioning Brook at the time, Fewkes admitted the pair were close friends.
“I was envious of people doing well. Kell (Brook) is really good mate but I couldn’t watch him, it was really too much.

“I always read a game well I knew what to do, it was just putting it into practice, for me. I am better teaching the sport than doing it myself.”

Notorious for putting on weight between fights, Brook has a big job on his hands to make welterweight again for a potential Khan clash.

Whether Fewkes or anyone else is on board, the upheaval of severing a long-term collaboration with Ingle may have a lasting effect for Brook as he contemplates his next and possibly most important career move.

Happens a lot with fighters towards the end of a career. They don't want to pay big money to a trainer that has already shown them everything they can.

All the signs Brook is going to duck Khan again. First he said he's petrified of Khan, then he refuses to make weight, now all of a sudden he leaves his trainer. Wouldn't be surprised if he just randomly retires and goes back to the dodgy drug binges and the rumored gay encounters in Ibiza.

"Brook is considering trialling a partnership with former boxer and friend John Fewkes."

This isn't gonna help the gay rumors.

WHO DA FEWKES IS DAT GUY?!!

Is he going to Fewke Kell Brokeback Mountain up the chocolate brownie chute?

As if we all don't know (apart from the token racist fans of his) that Kell Brook has been cycling PED's for years. It's the Ingle way and before his swansong that will be thoroughly tested he wants to try and get clean and remove himself from the Ingles image of consistent PED use.

Brook the bum slayer as irrelevant as always without calling for his daddy Khan every two seconds. The stick insect came from 132lbs. Make 147. Do the rehydration clause. Talk that **** in the ring.

Brook clearly scared he's going to get the McTapper treatment since they both have the same thing in common. QUITTERS.

Khan will light that bum slaying quitter up all night long and say "HEY! HEY! LET'S TALK NOW! LET'S TALK NOW!". Whilst Brook will be like "It's just business" and then he'll take the knee and QUIT. LOLOL!!

Strange. I thought Ingle did a great job in transforming Billy Joe into a decent fighter and was good at getting his fighters to make weight. Like Robbie said; it smacks of a fighter cashing out and not wanting to pay his trainers big bucks.

With his style he should try Adam Booth or Mayweather Sr.
