Canelo didn't bring up Floyd. A reporter asked him what do you think about Floyd saying he's coming out of retirement and would you fight him again if he did. Canelo answered that question what you want him to do lie? He said the same thing that a million fighters have said that Floyd fighting these UFC bums is a joke. Canelo literally was asked and said the same thing a year ago heading into the first GGG fight. GGG answered the question exactly the same way Canelo did this time and last time. The only reason this got a response from Floyd is because he was all over the news for signing the richest contract in sports history and Floyd the ultimate jealous insecure old man can't stand anybody else making money or getting attention. Even his own damn fighters say this about him.

All the money and success he had and still feels threatened and insecure. He's becoming the old grumpy man yelling at kids to get off his lawn. Like dude enjoy your money and retirement.

No he still very much relevant unfortunately so the sport can't move on with out him, look at the reaction and sh_t storm he created from just one Instagram Post. People still making threads talking about Mayweather.

While at the same time YOU Oscar is talking about a rematch at 160 would make them A LOT OF MONEY. If he wasn't relevant why the hell is he still the biggest fight Canelo can make

It's called freedom of speech. Anyone in America is entitled to say whatever they want so There's no way Floyd could sue Oscar for that

I thought it was speculation until everyone started bringing it up once he called out Floyd on twitter. If he kept his mouth shut and stopped acting so holy he wouldn’t have been exposed.

Could you please. are you ok with Canelo mentioning Floyd?
The reporter asked Canelo about Floyd coming out of retirement all Canelo did was answer the question...he had no intentions of talking about Floyd and lets not forget this was AFTER Floyd announces he is coming out of retirement on the eve of Canelo's PPV to try and take away the shine of Canelo/GGG 2. This is a habit from Floyd where he attacks someone for attention whenever somebody else signs a big fight, signs a big contract or during somebody else's PPV. Hell he even attacks his own fighters. Canelo made these exact same statements over a year ago and Floyd didn't respond what triggered Floyd isn't a fighter saying him fighting a UFC is a disgrace because I can list a hundred fighters, promoters, trainers, media members that all said the same about it. What triggered Floyd is Canelo signing that history breaking contract and it being all anybody was talking about. And what triggered Floyd to strategically announce he coming out retirement on Sept 15 is because the world was talking about Canelo and GGG.
