I don't have a problem with rehydration clauses. Fighters should not be able to rehydrate past the next weight class. If Canelo can demand that Fielding not rehydrate past ten pounds, why not allow Khan the same courtesy? Boxing as a sport needs to have set standards, we can't have the money-makers being the only shot-callers. Need to protect all fighters.

I'm British and I used to be a big fan of both Brook and Khan but now they are embarassing! Khan used to fight everyone. He had a weak chin but the guy had balls. As soon as he started chasing the Mayweather fight he became a p*ssy. Scared to take any other fight in case he lost his opportunity.
As for Brook. Props to him for fighting Golovkin and Spence but where is he now? Chasing Khan around, because he knows (or thinks) it's an easy money fight for him. Brook should be going for a Spence rematch if he had any self-respect. Or at least fight someone halfway challenging.
Both fighters have been ruined by chasing opponents they can't get.Comment

Sorry but anyone asking for a rehydration clause is just finding a way to either punk out of a fight or physically diminish their opponent. Either way it's a punk move.Comment

i dont follow the "dangerous for Brook" comments..
Wouldn't it be more dangerous for Brook if he was really a 170lb person and dehydrated down to 147?
I see Khan as just wanting Brook to get his body down to a natural 157. He knows what happens to him when he fights naturally bigger people, so if Brook is too big to fight him, then he's too big to fight him.
He doesnt' want a Lemieux vs Spike or a Mungia vs anyone situation, where the guy is gigantic on fight night.Comment
