It’s a big fight so why not take it? Floyd doesn’t take risks. It has to be high reward low risk. Otherwise, he’d prove GGG was straight up and down no special effects since it was the biggest fight in boxing at the time he said it.

Trout undefeated at time of fight Trout = same size
Lara undefeated at time of fight Lara = same size
Floyd undefeated at time of fight (canelo lost 8-4) Floyd = smaller
Gennady undefeated at time of fight Gennady = bigger
Cotto primeish at time of fight (Martinez was actually his signature win) Cotto = smaller
Liam Smith undefeated at time of fight Liam = smaller
Yeah I wish Canelo would fight 1 prime guy...L M F A OOOOriginally posted by BoxingandBlunts View PostTrout is great not elite
Canelo didn't beat Lara
Floyd schooled him 12-0
Gennady, old known dude as i mentioned
Cotto was not prime, battle worn by then, He chose Martinez once he saw those knees completely blown, the fight was always there for him to take and he never wanted it then all the sudden
Liam smith is not elite is he even his prime or just another journey man for the resume?..
Caneloweight was just horrible
Any elite boxer with great footwork schools Nelo hands down he knows it

Everyone can admit Canelo is a good fighter.
But come on. Let's be honest. Canelo wasnt even a good PPV draw early in his career. He piggy backed the names of tested fighters with big fan bases, Chavez. Mayweather, cotto etc to build his name.
And then to the if he was desperate why didnt he beg for a rematch after he lost? Dont be ****ing dumb. It's because he knew he got ****ing dominated and didnt deserve one. Do you really think he would want to be EMBARASSED AGAIN?
And as for the lie that he isnt a natural 160 pounder. The dude is a legit 160lber. Hes the same size as GGG. GGG is a bit taller but Canelo is definitely wider.

**** off, a Mayweather rematch is awful for everyone except Floyd Mayweather, Saul Alvarez, and whoever makes money off them.

What more do you want from him?!?!
Now he has to pass the torch as a 40+ year old to a younger fighter because you can't stand him and want to see him lose? No, don't work like that

If he is a naturally 140 pounder, why in hell he couldn't even make 144 for the Marquez fight?
