Murata is a huge star in Japan. He won a gold medal so he's a household name over there. I can't remember exactly what kind of ratings his last fight did in Japan but it was massive.

If that is the case, then why is his next fight is being held in Vegas,
      and not in Japan?

Its a way to expose him to the American market I guess. But if he fights GGG it will 100% be in Japan. I think Bob Arum mentioned the Tokyo Dome (which seats around 55,000) as a venue.

Yet he will be fighting GGG in Japan, not America.
If he is a huge star in Japan, does it make sense for Brant to fight him here making less, instead of in Japan?

They lost? So they don't really have the money, do they?

over 17 million tuned in for his last fight in Japan. He makes Crawford, Wilder, Spence look like nobodies when it comes to views. He also makes nearly 10 million a year in endorsements in Japan. He is a more lucrative fight than Jermall Charlo

Substantially more. I read this might be the most lucrative fight ever in Japan. I don't know what that means by I imagine very good money.

I do not think Golovkin is going to go to Japan for chump change.
