Spence don't want that smoke, that's what's holding up the fight. Bud figures him out and uses his own aggression against him, picks him apart and schools him down the stretch.

Al Haymon has almost literally sent a dozen of his fighters out to fight on cards for promoters outside of his orbit, without being forced to by a mandatory.

Can argue about whether the fighter is A-list or not, but Gervonta Davis, going over to the UK, to fight a Frank Warren fighter, on a Frank Warren show, in Frank's fighter's home city, didn't happen all that long ago.

Errol Spence Jr, flying to Sheffield, to fight Kell Brook, wasn't that long ago either.

Outside of Manny Pacquiao for the Floyd fight, you can't point to a single time when Bob Arum has sent any fighter anywhere else that he wasn't forced to send.

When has Arum sent any fighter to a rival promoter's show where he wasn't forced to?

He sent Crawford to Scotland to win his first title - there was a purse bid but they ended up making an agreement to fight on a Hearn promoted show

Crawford lost a round or two on the cards to that mediocre guy he just fought but he will win ever round against Spence? No, Crawford will get knocked out just like everybody else who fought Spence in the last few years. MAN DOWN!
That "mediocre" guy was undefeated and called a child prodigy. Spence has beaten washed up dudes, he was losing to Brook before he hurt him. Pederson was in his prime in 2009 for crying out loud. Old man Bundu was like 42 when Spence fought him, lolol....and Chris Algeiri? Come on now and Occampo is just a little kid who had fought nobody.

Smoke and mirrors man, smoke and mirrors. Bud will tactically set him up for counters, have the better foot placement, lead Spence into bad spots. Too many easy matches won't set him up for success against an elite boxing tactician like Bud.

that was a mando that was heading to purse bid. We are talking about voluntary fights, unifications, etc.

And instead of deflecting back to Arum, just admit that in 4 years, there is not a SINGLE EXAMPLE of Haymon letting an A-list fighter do a voluntary fight or unification on a different promoters show

Will look into the Ricky Burns vs Terence Crawford fight that was mentioned by a different poster, but it's utterly hilarious that you can't mention a single Top Rank fighter, besides Pacquiao, whose been sent to fight under another promoter's banner without being forced to move to fight, lol.

Not even one, A-list or otherwise, lol

well duh, thats because promoters typically dont do it. I didnt jump into this thread saying its all Haymons fault, because they ALL do it, whether its Arum, GBP, Haymon, or whoever.

YOU are the one trying to pin it on Arum, as if Haymon doesnt do the exact same thing.......
