Spence has his next 12-18 months pretty well lined up; the next big fight is wbc champion Shawn Porter, with the big big fight being the Thurman fight for the main three belts. There'll be maybe 2 tickovers mixed in, but his path is clear.

There's no need to lie here.

Spence will do his thing, Crawford will do whatever he's going to do, and then talks can happen on real terms (50/50 on everything simply doesn't make sense anyway)
Right now Arum has stated he is willing and able to make the fight. Spence's side are saying they are not ready. That 500k thing was said a while back. Arum has obviously had either a change of heart or he thinks he can do the 500k now.

Arum has been flooding the media with his willingness and we are getting crickets from the PBC. You are free to believe whatever you want, but I know what I believe LOL.

Same with Spence, he has already put up barriers with his statements about being on different sides of the street or what not. Here's an idea, call your "advisor" and instead of begging for fights on Twitter, TELL him to call Bob Arum and see if they can make a Crawford fight.

These dudes are content with bum fights for the money they make. Dont let them fool you.
Well done man, this is TRUTH!!!

All we hear are crickets from the other side of the street.
        There's no surprise there.
Mikey and Spence are in the same house,
same kitchen, same dog, same uncle.
        They both wanted the fight.
        Nothing happened.
It's similar to Broner and Matthysse when he was on the same street.
        Both wanted the fight.
"Hope he's not joking," Matthysse said when he learned about Broner's interest in the fight.
Showtime/PBC did nothing and let Matthysse re-sign with GBP.
These people should not be in this business.

Any word from the other side of the street yet?

It's like Spence said, "It's all smoke and mirrors." Until we get an official announcement on this I'm not buying these talks. Do the fighters want it? Sure. But financial interests will make sure that the profits to this fight are maximized. I just hope it's not too late. 2020 is probably the latest on this fight's time frame. After that both fighters will have peaked in my opinion.

Arum can talk all he wants; he's good at that.

ESPN has said Jack **** about taking 3.5% or even being on board with a joint PPV, and DuBoef/Arum have openly feigned lack of knowledge of who to actually get in contact with were a deal to be actually discussed.

I wouldn't fall for the smoke, tbh

It appears Showtime doesn't want this fight.

Its pretty clear to me that Showtime/PBC/Haymon don't want the fight right now.

PBC/Haymon are in a high-risk/low-reward situation, while Arum is in a low-risk/high-reward situation.

Pacquiao getting robbed against Horn and then going to PBC, robbed Crawford of a star making fight. Now Arum is giving Crawford worse and worse opponents/names: Horn, then Benavidez, next is Kavaliauskas. Crawford and Arum need the Spence fight.

Haymon has less to gain and more to lose by putting his guys against Crawford. While Crawford and Arum have more to gain and less to lose. If Crawford wins, he becomes a bigger star, P4P #1, and PBC has no choice but to let Crawford fight Thurman and Porter. Meanwhile, if Crawford loses, it’s not too big of a deal because he can make a ”comeback” by knocking out tomato cans at Top Rank.

I don’t consider Canelo a top three p4p fighter, Crawford, Loma and Usyk are the best of the best.
