I disagree with The Bob Father...in fact I scored BOTH fights for Nelo...And to take it a step further...Nelo is the only fighter who I would put at the top of the P4P list besides Bud...Nelo is the BEST MW...the cash cow and ARGUABLY the BEST pugilist in the world RIGHT NOW in my book
The 1st fight should definitely been a win for GGG, but I thought the 2nd one was a lot closer, possibly even a draw. However if they fight a 3rd time, I can only see a legit win for Canelo. I feel a bit sorry for GGG, however the odds of beating the house fighter in Vegas without a KO are not exactly the best kept secret in boxing and he knew what he was getting into when he signed the contracts for both fights.
Nelo beat him TWICE. I don't feel sorry for that fake hype job so we want to see & will pay for
Golovkin is too old for long term fights. Let's be honest he'll take quite a beating from the next gen of middleweights and I hope the money is worth it.
While I believe GGG beat Canelo twice and was robbed by a blantantly corrupt system I agree with your assessment. GGG should take the money and run and not hang around and suffer permanent damage. He is still a great middleweight but way past his prime
Fighters, trainers and most importantly the judges who are trained at scoring fights (one of which is the only judge who thought GGG won the first fight) said Canelo won. LOL
Say what now?
Out of a total of 69 boxing writers and fighters, a landslide 54 thought GGG won the fight. Only FIVE thought Canelo won, and the rest had it a draw.
