Look, he flat out got schooled by an all time great. No shame at all in that. That fight helped make him a better fighter, but stylistically it was such a bad fight for him. Fight was fought at mid range and Mayweather had quicker hands, better reflexes and was just flat out the superior boxer. Fight could have taken place at 168 and it wouldn't have mattered.
They always mention Canelo age but never include the fact that Floyd was 36 years old lol

I mean I don't get it, why are they ashamed to admit he was 23 years old and not 22 years old? What is it about the one year that makes such a difference in their argument or narrative?

And 23 years old with almost 8 years of experience plus 40+ fights. Guess how old was Tommy Hearns when SRL beat him? 22 years old, so is that win not that impressive? Guess how old Floyd was when he had his best performance against Chico?

I think Floyd and Chico were both 23-25 I forget but more than Canelo being 23 is the fact that Floyd was 36 an age where boxer are either retired or considered old, and he stated many times his body and hands broke down after gatti at 28 29. I could even remember when the fight was made and people were legit scared for Floyd thinking Canelo was too young too big and way to strong lol then the excuses came after the fight

No, its probably worse what Floyds doing. But Fielding is a domestic level fighter and everyone familiar with him knows it. Canelo is running a con job amd and this will lead to the creation of the 161 lb division most likely.

Its a close run thing. But at the end of the day you gotta blame the public too i guess.

If Floyd won't get in the ring with Thurman, Spence, Crawford or Porter, he sure as hell ain't getting in the ring with a stronger, more experienced Canelo. That doesn't fit his M.O. At this point, a Canelo rematch probably does better in PPV than the Pac rematch. Too much risk though. Got to stay true to his values and protect that "0" at all costs.

Floyd was 23 years old when he fought Chico....The same age as Canelo was when he fought Floyd.

This wasn't a fight Canelo lost because of the weight or he was too young, he lost because he was simply going against a much superior boxer. Canelo isn't a pure pressure fighter that is going to use his size against you. Instead he will be sitting in the mid range looking to counter and box. When he beat Khan, it wasn't because he bullied him or anything, he beat him because he out smarted him by feinting to the body and coming upstairs.

Good luck boxing with Floyd and beating him in that game.

Floyd has some good money fights lined up for him. Khabib, Pac and Canelo if he wants it. Canelo is too big for him now though.

I think Floyd fought him on his terms last time, and got hia ass whipped so u now u want a rematch come down to 147 since Floyd is older hasn't been active make some concessions on ur end or shut the **** up...It doesn't make sense for u to have all the physical advantages again or go fight a guy that in ur weight class...

If they were to rumble, Money May would never fight him on DAZN and Canelo would never fight him on Showtime.
