Byrd to drop to Cruiser to fight O'Neil Bell?

    From Baxingtalhk:

Undisputed cruiserweight champion O'Neil Bell and sources from Team Chris Byrd have informed **********.com that a Bell-Byrd cruiserweight clash is currently in discussion for sometime this fall. Byrd is ready, willing and able to face Bell at the cruiserweight limit of 200 pounds and Bell is more than ready for the challenge.

should be interesting...Byrd with the chance to become undisputed crusierweight champion in a division he probably could have dominated

Byrd should have stayed a CW in the first place......So should have James Toney and Vassily Jirov.

I think that their should be a heavyweight and superheavyweight division, then these guys could match up with one another at heavyweight, and not have to bulk up so high.

It is good to hear that Byrd is going down to cruiserweight. Him fighting guys like Klitschko is just plain unfair as far as I'm concerned.

I don't like the idea of a SuperHeavyweight division.

Guys like Byrd, Toney and Jones should be able to fight at Heavyweight if that's what they want to do.

Chris had a good run up there and accomplished a lot for a smaller fighter.

Yeah but that would **** up history. These guys should just stay where they can be most effective. When they move up, they know what they are getting themselves into with these giants.......

Yeah he may even KO Byrd if he stands in there with him like he tried to do with Wlad. But if he boxes he could win by UD because he does have a good chin.
