Mayweather worked alongside golden boy on a fight by fight basis in a co-promotion after his fight against oscar in a deal made with schaefer.

As co-promoters and rights distributors for those fights i imagine GBP hold the catalogues to those fights.

Kinda weird but why is DAZN mentioning the signing but no word from Matchroom? Oscar said he was going to go past Eddie and deal with DAZN directly, and everyone on here said that wasn’t allowed.

well done.. so whats uncle Al going to do with that money ? offer a guarantee against PPV buys? You think a beterbiev fight is going to do enough PPV's for them to do offer that to artur? no... You think even if they do it isnt going to be a money sink when the buys are shocking against the guarantees?

DAZN can and will however offer him a guarantee against subscription, which will have more solid numbers than a guestimate of possible PPV buys.

Again to the point above? at what stage do you think showtime will outbid DAZN for what isnt a PPV fight?

Are they going to pay the astronomical fee needed to secure that fight against a DAZN guarantee for each fighter when they cant put that fight on PPV? In order for them to pay them the huge purses, and still support the undercard and other costs.. they need to put that fight on a paying platform to recoup the money. NOONE IS PAYING US PPV PRICES FOR A TANK FIGHT!!

You obviously havent read of the matchroom - DAZN deal for canada announced a couple of weeks ago, which turns that highly in favour of him staying with them.

Because all those fighters were under Golden Boy they have the rights to them. This isn't even anything new when Ring TV launched their streaming app a few years ago they rolled a library of past golden boy fights and half of Floyds fights were there from his time with Golden Boy. Just like Top Rank has rights to Floyds fights and has put them on various ESPN platforms. I think the only fights Floyd owns the rights to are Manny, Berto and Mcgregor because those are the fights where he left Golden Boy and Mayweather Promotions were the lead promoters. Everything else looks like is owned by Top Rank and Golden Boy
