As far as moving up to challenge yourself, you really only get credit for that if you're moving up to challenge someone who is a highly regarded fighter in that division, which fielding is not. There are multiple guys from 154 to 160 who are much bigger threats to beat Canelo than fielding. Hell, there are a couple of welterweights who'd be less of an underdog than fielding.
Do any of the guys you're mentioning bring a title to the table in a new weight class? You have to understand, canelo is coming out of 2 wars with GGG, he deserves an easier fight. He could've fought lemuix, but he brings absolutely nothing to the table. At least fielding brings a title at a new weight class.

It a challenge, but I understand you’ve got to try to sell it. It’s a tune up to stay active.

And LOL at GGG fans, Fielding is a bum, but he’s still better than all but a few fighters GGG has ever fought.

Every Canelo thread has so many comments from people clearly emotional invested. DAZN is going to do ok...

Talk about being a hater and wanting someone to fail miserably... 😆

he was just testing the waters to see if his body can acclimate well on that weight. perhaps with that regular belt, he'll take couple of bouts against no names then go after Callum if being successful.

if he feels 168 is just too much then he could go back comfortably.

and with experiences in both 160 and 168, it will be easy for him to unify the entire middleweight.

detractors gonna rant all day lmao but cashnelo's playing it out..
