Those were all fights where he was a heavy favorite. Now I will give him credit for cotto even though he was a 3-1 favorite and Cotto was 10 yrs older and much smaller. He'll get credit for ggg despite waiting 2 yrs until he hit his mid 30s. But, let's not forget, he got a full year break in between ggg fights. Now if I thought he'd fight this fielding guy and then go to a Charlo or jacobs, it'd be cool. But based on how Golden boy operates, I'm more inclined to think he'll take this fight, then fight Lemiuex in May, then maybe go for a trilogy with a 37 yr old ggg. Then we're talking about a pretty long time before he'd really be fighting any top fighter who is at least near their prime age. Maybe I'm being pessimistic but those 2 yrs of fights while he avoided ggg turned me off to how Golden boy handles Canelos career because they know that they'll make money off his fan base as they will still support these inferior fights.

I don't respect how Canelo refuses to fight Jermall Charlo.
Canelo fans will say well what has Charlo done to deserve a title shot.
Well he did everything the WBC asked him to do.
What exactly did James Kirkland do get a fight with Canelo?!

exactly, you can't ask what has someone done to deserve a title shot when canelo fought amir khan for the wbc /lineal middle weight championship. Amir khan was ko'd at 135 and 140, wasn't a title holder at 147 and hadn't been a world champion in any division for about 4 yrs when canelo fought him. So how exactly is charlo undeserving?

Bottom line is gggs biggest claim to fame atm is tying Canelo & Tying Bhops record "title" defenses of 20 despite 13 of those defenses being nothing more than the WBA regular title, the same title Fielding has.

The funniest irony is that Ggg defended his title 20 times total,& 13 of those were him having nothing more than a WBA regular title he was gifted for beating this fcking bum from South America.

        Bet nobody heard of him.
Fielding would be GGG’s best win? Lmao stop it get some help

When Feilding fought Canelo,he would have been considered gggs best win on paper(for the simple fact that he was a smw*champ) facts,(or at best 2nd best win)(yes hes a bum,but ggg to that pt had faced 99% of bums)

You're the same guy who claimed for ages that Bivol was the boogieman & then when Canelo chose him you now claim hes a bum..You have zero credibility at this pt.

Of course we know ggg didn't beat Canelo(going off official wins, not hypothetical/imaginary) Am I wrong in saying that Feilding Canelo fought would've been considered at worst his 2nd best win on paper?
