Yes, this dude is not an elite fighter, but he's much bigger. Hes 8 inches taller and will outweigh canelo at least 20 pounds on fight night. I agree is hard to get too excited for this fight, but canelo deserves massive respect for this. Inly 2 fights at full fledged middleweight and is already moving up to super middleweight.

Ps. GGG aka mr. 154-168 never moved up and weight amd tested himself, yet most people praised him. Fielding is better than 90% of GGG oppositions. Canelo is the real boogeyman lol

He wins this paper title, then he goes Canelo weight. 164 maybe and starve Callum down for 3 million.

Canelo is taking a bit of a risk but I would think he's sparred with SMW's or maybe a LHW before making things decision.

perhaps you fail to realize that mathamatecially fielding is better than about 90% of Canelos opposition as well. Of Canelos 52 fights, he didn't fight someone who wasn't a very big underdog until his 42nd fight. As far as moving up to challenge yourself, you really only get credit for that if you're moving up to challenge someone who is a highly regarded fighter in that division, which fielding is not. There are multiple guys from 154 to 160 who are much bigger threats to beat Canelo than fielding. Hell, there are a couple of welterweights who'd be less of an underdog than fielding.

The middleweight division has a lot of good fighters right now. I don't think Canelo will be on top for very long. Unless he avoids fighting most of them
