Comments Thread For: Canelo: I'm Taking a Big Risk Entering Fielding's Comfort Zone

I had to google Rocky Fielding's boxrec after I saw this fight announced. I never heard of him before. And I read boxing news more days than not. Fielding was never worth mentioning on boxing media. I can give Canelo a pass in the sense that this fight is only a few months after GGG but I cant get too excited about it or pretend like this is an amazing opponent.

      Canelo have the perfect momentum

Come on Canelo! let's be honest here, you are not taking in the minimum a risk, you are taking this opportunity aka. Roy Jones Jr. vs Ruiz in heavy weight. A easy touch and tune up with the bonus to capture a third champion chip belt in another weight class. That is not something bad what you are doing and I am glad you got this opportunity, so stop saying is a risk and don't lie the public and your fans. Peace.

Callum Smith destroyed Rocky Fielding's in round 1. Also Rocky got a paper title with unknown Tyron Zeuge in Gemany after fighting 3rd tier fighters.

C'mon dude, Canelo fighting GGG so soon anywhere other than in Las Vegas? He needs to wait for GGG to hit 40, then maybe...after a year of negotiations.

Only risk Alvarez is taking is going to NY. Other than that, he's fighting the weakest belt holder at '68. Kinda like he when he fought the engkish kid for the '54 belt.

People will say all kind of bull**** when they're promoting. He's taking a risk despite being a 10-1 favorite?
And he always wanted to fight in msg even though that's where Golovkin wanted to fight instead of Vegas?

Come on. This is do transparent.

Seriously??? Damn canelo takes his fans for fools. This is like when Oscar said Liam Smith was the most dangerous champion at 154 or that Canelo vs Chavez jr would be like Barrera vs morales.

Y’all need to relax it’s a tune up fight I’m sure he’ll move back down and fight at 160 again.
