How do you justify getting the biggest guarantee in hw boxing and still duck the fight??? How do you justify getting fight after making a lowball offer to team wilder and still duck the fight??? Yet I'm the casual.....lol. stop it aj man fan. Just stop it.
Dam that was eloquently said lol! True also.....

This. Wilder and co were jumping through hoops while Eddie was going to press conferences laughing, saying nobody knew who Wilder was, Shelly this, laughing at press conferences how Wilder's camp needed them, and now Eddie is going to the media every chance he can crying that he's trying to get the fight made because suddenly Wilder has a PPV match lined up with someone else.

AJ basically just realized he doesn't have a date for the prom.

That's fine, all part of the negotiations but it's not like if the PPV bombs they're going to suddenly settle for less. Especially seeing the only way that the fight happens is if Wilder wins, enhancing his reputation.

It's just a question of does he win and can therefore move forward with AJ and then how much value has he added to his marketability

I certainly see no reason negotiations can't be started now. Shelly's not in camp and if they wait they might lose the April date and have to wait longer. Both sides will then blame each other, again.
It's simple really. Team aj has been dictating terms, talking A side, making low ball offers, etc. Wilder vs fury changes the game and negotiations. Both guys are already making career high paydays, and both get a ppv upside. Wilder knocking out fury, especially a highlight reel ko on a good selling ppv, makes wilder the wbc and the lineal hw champion of the world, a successful ppv headliner, and he will be promoted from that point on as the real champion here in America. Meanwhile, Joshua will be seen as a nothing more than a belt holder, and a star strictly in the UK. Much like guys like Ricky burns, Dillon whyte, and Parker in NZ. He won't no longer be able to play A side, and he will have to come to the table with a real offer instead of a bs offer. He might even having to come to table and give in to wilders demands. That's why it makes no sense to negotiate anything right now.

The same people that were saying that Wilder shouldn't enter the ring with AJ after the parker fight are crying now. Double standards anyone?

Lol. Sure it will. Showtime is gonna give up their new ppv lineal ppv hw champion to the guys who used them for US promotion before running to the start up app. Makes a lot of sense to me. Lol

Hearn is assuming wilder will win. But if he doesn't then obviously wilder will get less money

Last time key points where left open in the contract to be signed. What good will be there to lose time discussing something that can be changed in the last minute to stall things again
