Well, Floyd obviously wants a fight in a boxing ring, and Khabib wants it in the octagon in mma. However, Khabib would accept a boxing match if he gets paid a huge amount. All about the $.

The best boxer in the UFC vs the most protected one in boxing (until he retired) at least made some sense. A wrestler vs Floyd really holds no appeal.

Now, if they are allowed to use UFC gloves, instead of boxing gloves, they might rope me in. But a wrestler in padded boxing gloves vs Floyd means a 0% chance of winning even if he lands the perfect punch, so who wants to watch a predetermined sport? In UFC gloves, Khabib's odds go up to 1%, which is at least a chance, so that would make it no longer predetermined, which could make it worth watching. But I'd rather see Floyd-Mcgregor in UFC gloves, or Floyd-Pacquiao II.

That's pretty much MMA then. Khabib would obviously destroy Floyd in MMA. And Floyd would obviously dominate Khabib in boxing. But since Floyd is the bigger draw, he gets to call the shots, so he'd make sure it's a boxing match.

floyd u quickly responded to a challenge from a UFC fighter with no boxing skills, and told SHO to look and see where khabib called u out. why did u fail respond to charlo challenging u? why don't u truly make las vegas great again FOR REAL FOR REAL. fight a damned boxer, man. archie moore, saoul mamby, hopkins, and many many other did it til 50+, and never fought any alternative type fight. they fought real boxers, win lose or draw. u been picking and choosing for a long ass time

Floyd knocks him out in less than 4 rounds in boxing..it's really pointless though

i think it goes longer... khabib is more dangerous than conor and if floyd played it safe against conor, no way he goes in for the early kill against khabib.

Yes, Mayweather said there was a good chance he would fight in the cage by the end of this year and even said he was training - but no one should count on him fighting in the cage. He knows what would happen to him if he did.
