those who cant deal with tune up fight as a voluntary really have a problem..
there are multiple people on here who said he's making this love for his legacy to become a multiple division champion. This isn't a voluntary, he's going to go back to 160 and then make a voluntary in May. Basically back to back light fights.

David Benavidez was forced to stay with Al Haymon and Sampson Boxing so Benavidez will NOT be getting a Canelo shot anytime soon.

Canelo fought Khan and Chavez Jr. On PPV and both were with Haymon. So it makes no difference if Canelo wants the fight

When your the A side you can do that. I mean he did make GGG run out of the ring CRYING. Now that was classic.

Yeah lets look up the betting odds for Vanes/GGG and Rocky/Canelo and see which on is closer.

                fielding isnt champion. smith is.

That's how we know that Canelo is just trying to do an easy belt grab and it's not really about making a great legacy move as some are trying to pretend his fight with Fieldhouse is. Just like he did with Liam Smith he took the easiest option there was which is a UK belt holder, not a champion.
The fielding fight is simply a "stay busy" fight for Alvarez. He has a lot of unfinished business, read lucrative fights, at 160. Besides, he is a small middleweight at best. He is short for a middleweight. I take that back, he is short for 154. I seriously doubt that he will continue fighting guys who are a 1/2 a head taller and 20 lbs heavier at fight time. Golovkin should be the one fighting at 168.
