Watching the Parker fight live I actually scored it to Hughie, didn’t see Parker land anything of note, but on refelection Hughie didn’t land much of his own and showed pretty much zero aggression the entire fight. I can see why the judges scored it as they did, but the wide cards were a shock at the time.

Hughie just turned 24 and even if I didn't like Hughie negative style in that fight, I thought he beat Parker and he's taking next on Pulev wich is respectable.
He and Pete are humble lads and are trying to get the big fights so stop hating for a minute on every non american fighter ("no I like Linares doe" yeah F you).
Whats that tell you clown?Comment

yeah, justt the american mentality on here whenever someone loses their 0 thats it, they are done. he lost a close fight to parker, mostly due to him being overly negative. he can learn and improve from thatComment

I believed in Hughie once but the writing is on the wall. The guy never developed the power necessary to be a real HW champ. That MIGHT be ok if he was a brilliant boxer but he's not. A good boxer, for sure. But not great and shows no sign of changing since he hasn't progressed much in 5 years.
Hughie is just developing his strength now (look at the size of him now in training camp after gruelling training) and is growing into himself. Saying a young boxer never developed the power is strange seeing as he is still young and not even in his prime? What's your reasoning behind this?Comment

Doubt it, but all the best to Hughie. With Wilder on the other side, I see him gatekeeping at best. He should drop to cruiser with Usyk on his way out, he could still have some successComment
