More pointless, sanctioned money making, fights. It's never what the fans wants anymore. It's all about money. Fighters these days wonder why they will never exceed the legends before them.

Fighters back in the day also used to fight more. Fighting 4 and 5 times a year used to be the norm. They'd fight a good fighter, take on a bum or two and then back in again with another good opponent. Two of the biggest stars Tyson & Ali both fought bums in their prime but it kept them active and kept the public's attention. The most popular guys today are fighting once a year and we're not even getting the best against the best most of the time

I'm impressed with the scrabble name guy after watching him a few times. Might not have enough experience but his technique is good, I can see him winning this.

Two draws in a row and he is in the final eliminator, had he won those two fights I guess he'd be up for galactic emperor. Looks like a concerted effort to keep Ugas (who is not that great)away from a title fight.

I could be wrong, but I don't think a fighter loses his spot in the rankings with a draw. Hence why Vargas has or will stay at the top of both the IBF and WBC rankings.

But he is no dummy, he knows he has a better chance against Porter than Spence, so he likely doesn't take this fight.
