    Sulecki isn't a bad opponent but I don't want to hear the fanboys who trashed it as a terrible fight for Jacobs now suddenly act like Charlo is fighting a prime Carlos Monzon.
    Um, who exactly is doing that? And folks killings Jacobs for Sulecki weren't paying attention. Sulecki dominated Centeno and beat Culcay in a competitive bout. Culcay himself was coming off giving Andrade a nice fight. Then because Sulecki gave Jacobs a good run, his stock rose from that fight. That's how things usually work in boxing.

    Be consistent in what regard? The GGG fight isn't happening in December so should Charlo just sit on the sidelines until he gets more clarity of the situation? GGG isn't going to fight Charlo in all likelihood knowing he can get the Canelo fight without being mandated by the WBC. Charlo is doing the right thing here taking a fight in the meantime. If he didn't, people would kill hin for being inactive.

        Peter quillen, andre ward, and now charlo. The fear of these Euro Juggernauts is REAL. Charlo will call out GGG when he turns 43 and is retired hahaa

          I get all that and I agree but would the Charlo fans and GGG haters apply that logic if GGG had decided to take a fight like Sulecki in December? No they wouldn't. Like I said the forum would be backed up 4/5 pages of "GGG shook", "GGG scared" etc;

            What would GGG taking a fight in December have to do with Charlo? If he wanted to take another fight before years end he could have. The WBC hasn't even ordered this fight yet so that point is moot. And like I said, it is highly unlikely GGG even takes this fight in the first place since he wouldn't have to beat Charlo to get another shot at Canelo.

              Golovkin is likely not going to fight until May of next year. Charlo's last fight was in April. He would be out for a year. He needs to stay busy which is what this fight is.

                      Golovkin just had a tough fight so there's no way he'd fight in December anyway. Charlo should remain active in the meantime.
