Top Rank head honcho Bob Arum is a busy man as of late. Currently, the promoter is trying to put together a super fight between WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito and middleweight Winky Wright, while still trying to lure Floyd Mayweather, Jr. into a bout with Margarito. Arum told the Grand Rapids-Press that he feels Mayweather is legititmately scared of Margarito aa there is no reason the pound-for-pound king should not take the fight. [details]

let's just put it like this, shall we? floyd mayweather jr. went to 154 and defeated oscar de la hoya in bigger fashion than the scorecards indicated to many ringside experts and other fighters, while margarito goes to 154 and loses to daniel santos. now, although he was a part time fighter and more than part time promoter, and floyd's victory over him gets looked down upon, he had something left in the tank was much more skillful than santos was and is still.

but, let's think about this. what is oscar and shane mosley accepted floyd's offer to fight him in 2005 or 2006 after they both had huge victories to add to their resumes? or, what if margarito fought oscar de la hoya at 154? i mean, he sure did a hell of a job against santos. could he take his left hook with his fighting style even although his chin is solid. or, could he hurt oscar who has a great jab, and is technically more prolific than margo? or, would tony be too small for oscar like floyd was supposed to be, although skillwise, floyd ****s on oscar and tony, prime or not.

give me a break. NOBODY is afraid of Margarito. He's just ignored becuase anybody who actually boxes him will make him look foolish. Why out-box a slugger for a low pay-day when you can fight guys who actually can box and give you a competitive fight for more money?

money is not the issue.........the issue is balls when it comes to geting in the ring with tony alot of ppl say they will do this and do that with tony but win or lose you take an ass whooping just to prove your point when getting in with tony example williams , santos in the late rounds..started getting tore up so they only say what they can do but dont do it cuz they know they will have to pay a price even if they win thats why tony is the most avoided fighter!!!!lmao
