Floyd gets his aśśkicked by both, Spence would have his ribs for dinner like Outback and Bud would wanna punish Floyd for obviously he gonna trash talk an I see merciless beatdown for 12 rounds on purpose!
No one stops Floyd tho, too mentally strong and smart!
Hypothetically, if Floyd came out of retirement right now, I'd give Crawford no more than 3-4 rounds
TC wins. This is a physical sport where being past your physical prime is a tremendous handicap unless your skill level is light years ahead of the former, or your style is of great advantage against your opponent.
Breakdown:
- Current 41 yr old Floyd’s skill level ain’t light years ahead of Crawford. Floyd’s defensive and offensive skills are largely base on his speed and reflexes, lessen that by a considerable margin and he becomes vulnerable. He doesn’t fight ***ly like hopkins.
His ring IQ and experience is way above TC, but they’re pointless if the physical dept won’t apply em.
-Crawford’s style doesn’t easily play towards Floyd’s. crawford is athletic, fast and has good power. All wrong for retired 41 yr olds. judah was the closest albeit poor version to TC among Floyd’s opponents, and he had some good early rounds when Floyd was PRIME.
41 yr old past prime floyd would beat prime malignaggi, ghost, danny, Khan, postol. Guys with power but are slow. And guys with speed but don’t have power.
TC ain’t anything like em.
At this point I don’t think Floyd would even want to work Horn.
Horn would do ****** wrestlin moves on him and Floyd ain’t knocking him out.
Years ago he had two hard 12 round fights with Maidana. His last fight against a not very good boxer named Berto he went the full 12 rounds and never had Berto in danger of going down. Now years later you claim he would knock out the fighting ace Crawford in 3 or 4 rounds or less. I call extreme BS on that prediction.
Where did I mention KO? Crawford wins no more than 3-4 rounds in a 12 round fight.
I'm not sure why you mentioned Maidana. Crawford fights nothing like him

My bad. When you said “I’d give Crawford no more than 3-4 rounds” I read that as a 3-4 round KO.
No problem

Do you think Crawford beats Floyd by fighting him like Castillo/Maidana?
Or do you think TC would outbox Mayweather?
I say no to all of the above because Crawford isn't a pressure fighter, nor is he the slickest boxer. I've seen him get hit clean by ordinary fighters. Similar to Floyd, Crawford loses early rounds, but makes adjustments around the 5th or 6th.
Problem is, Floyd makes adjustments to adjustments. No way in hell, would Crawford outthink Mayweather in a technical boxing match. And he doesn't have the grit/brawler mentality to go for broke and eat 4 punches to land one.
Mayweather is 41, but has the body of a 25 year old and the boxing IQ of someone capable of teaching Hopkins a thing or two in class.
It's a bad matchup. The only rounds Crawford wins are the ones early around 2/3 before Mayweather adjusts and shuts him down

If we gonna go by entire career comparison then Floyd beats any version of TC. 42 year old Floyd would wash 42 year old TC.
30 year old Floyd would wash 30 year old TC.
The problem is right now the other guy is way past his prime. Crawford doesn’t have to be maidana or castillo he just have to be himself. He is now at a point where he can outspeed, out time, outstamina and outpower a 42 yr old version of Floyd. If it’s so easy Floyd would have grab this payday as it is too good and a much needed addition of a prime name in his resume. But it ain’t.
Body of a 25 yr old?? It’s clear you’re not closely watching Floyd’s career. If so, you would have seen the significant drop in workrate, movement, reflexes and speed leading towards the twilight.
And how do you know of that today?? As he wasn’t in a serious fight for 3 years now??
Floyd is great. But let’s not be fanboys here and believe a 42 yr old 3 yr retired guy would then have an easy day with a current prime and arguarbly number 1 welter and pound for pound.
Like I said put past prime Floyd in there with horn and he ain’t gonna have an easy time. He ain’t knocking horn in 9 like crawford did.
