if anything he beat herrera right after everyone was saying that herrera beat garcia... since you are talking about fighters doing "good showings" even tho they lost....

and you also keep bringing up the fact that he dropped andrade in the 1st round....

uhhh saul roman dropped vanes in the 1st round too... so that means according to your logic... hes up there with those guys too

just by those facts hes better than martyrosyan
Whilst I'm not disagreeing with your stance on Benavidez being a good opponent I don't think wins and losses should be as black and white as you say. I actually think Herrera beat Garcia and most would agree with that. The scorecards were unfortunate but the fight wasn't just what's on paper. I also think Herrera just about deserved the Benavidez fight too.

I believe Vanes to have defeated Charlo but it was perhaps close enough to barely take from him. Vanes being off for two years or so and then moving up basically made him a useless opponent though. That was proven in the ring.

Given what's available to Crawford right now, Benavidez is a good choice. It might be more competitive than Crawford vs let's say a shot Pacman. I personally prefer Benavidez to the current Pacman.

Why is that so hard for people to understand
Why does it have to be PPV?

Because Crawford isn't fighting on Fox and the PBC top WW aren't fighting on ESPN. Bob said neither has the budget for it

There are too many issue regarding broadcasting rights for it to not be a PPV. I doubt the teams of either guy would be comfortable with a fight on the other guys network.

Because this forum hates Crawford. The only time he's useful to them is when they can pit him against the black fighters on PBC. He was useful the other day when they could pit him against Spence. Now it's back to hating him
