you keep saying "top 30" when hes ranked 31st...

do you know how petty that sounds?

so who would you have him fight instead of benavidez?

Benavidez has been in the top 5. Do you know why he had a layoff? Are you aware of why he lost his ranking?

He's been in some fun fights and passed some good gut checks, remained unbeaten and is young. He had some out of the ring issues and has more maturity now and is back in the game full time.

Any of the 30 fighters in front of him would have been better

Come on bro he isn't a suitable opponent for a pound for pound level fighter, I never saw mayweather and pacquiao taking a fight like this in 10 years yet I see people saying Crawford beats both in fantasy match ups. He hasn't proven **** all at elite level, absolutely nothing. It's a disgrace and disrespectful to legends like them two who proved rhemselves when people talk about 'bud' being the same level when he's fighting the world number 31

            losing fights is an accomplishment?

if anything he beat herrera right after everyone was saying that herrera beat garcia... since you are talking about fighters doing "good showings" even tho they lost....

and you also keep bringing up the fact that he dropped andrade in the 1st round....

uhhh saul roman dropped vanes in the 1st round too... so that means according to your logic... hes up there with those guys too

just by those facts hes better than martyrosyan

Pacquaio fought Diaz, who was far worse. He also fought an ancient Mosley which was worse and the version of Margarito he fought was worse. Ignore the names. Sometimes the "name" can be misleading.

Floyd fought some duds too. I don't know that he fought anything better (perhaps some as good) from after Castillo II all the way to De La Hoya. Maybe Judah but he was coming off an embarrassing loss to a journeyman.

Both were ranked inside the top 2 pound for pound by most (as Crawford is now) during that period.

How am I clutching at straws. You're being ignorant if u don't think a fighter repeatedly being in a competitive fight with world level fighters illustrates that they have some ability. It proves more than beating nobodies.

And to answer your question, Errol Spence. It's the decisions Crawford has made that has prevented that, nothing else. Spence didn't have a fight lined up, amd dont tell ne it's bigger In a year or so after Crawford fights 3 nobodies where noones watching

I dont know where benavidez is now, but he was a pretty good prospect, unlike his brother he'd come in shape. Pacquiao fought chris algieri Which isnt as good as benavidez. Im more looking to see how benavidez will look. Might watch his come back fights even.
