Wilder sees himself as underdog and will be quietly suprised if he beats fury although he won't admit it
C'mon now, Wilder believes he can beat anyone out there. There's absolutely nothing wrong with his faith when it comes to winning. However, I think he could very well be overconfident because of his punching power.

He thinks Wilder is channeling demonic spirits, and he even started to address him like you would a person who is demon possessed. He asked him..."who are you" on few occasions as if he were conducting an exorcism. I don't think Deontay channels anything... it's just his routine to get himself in a fighting mentality, but it puts an interesting spin on the whole fight and makes it even more marketable.
How you deduced this from the face to face I don't know. I'm not a fan of either particularly and watched with an open mind.

Wilder genuinely seems to have some split personality stuff going on, he's delusional and it's not scary or coming across as a routine, it's wierd, cringeworthy and embarassing.

Fury isn't the full ticket upstairs but it made him look normal. Any questions of who are you as if talking to his alter ego, were very obviously playing along to be humorous and expose it for how silly it is. Tyson though often embarassing himself, was rather together, calm early on, witty and humorous.

I'm sure wilder is usually confident but I'm sure fury has revealed some home truths and put doubts in wilder mind.
The fact he's only had 5 decent opponents and ortiz was 40 years old.
Plus fury size and credentials and confudence. It all adds up.

It's just mindgames and Wilder knows that. Fury trying his best to win the fight before they enter the ring is not going to happen. Speaking of decent opponents, how many decent opponents can you find on Fury's record? To use Fury's own logic they are all bums, only Wlad counts.
