It was always going to sell well wasn't it. McGregor always does.
If i'm not mistaken, the only UFC fight in the top 6 selling of all time not featuring McGgregor is Lesnar Vs Mir.

That's why there will be a rematch.
Fight-wise though I'd prefer to see McGgrgeor - Ferguson. Their styles would gel well, while a Khabib rematch probably goes down in the same manner.

He probably has the best wrestling in mma and that alone means he could beat anyone, and what happened when they stood up? Con or got dropped and his power clearly didn't gaze khabib. He would beat conor everyday of the week. Only person who has a chance is Tony Ferguson.

Yea I've heard likewise. Better to be a middle of the road MMA guy then a middle of the road boxer.

And for 90%+ of guys in MMA & boxing you're getting peanuts.

But the biggest names in boxing are killing it in a way big name MMA guys haven't come close to.

Conor would be dead with a broken neck if there was no referee there. Plus the fuсkery that happened after. You don't have to like MMA, but that's definitely more dominant performance than some boxers fighting on the back foot whole night throwing jabs, going full distance

There is nothing dominant about laying on top of each other unless you're talking about sex. That **** was boring. Even MMA fans start to boo when the fighters lay on each other to long. Notice most MMA highlights are striking knockouts right? The most exciting about the fight was after the fight.

I’m sure they did well but the ufc/Dana exaggerate the fuuck outta there ppv numbers.

They’ve been known for that over the years just like every upcoming fight is the “ biggest ufc fight ever”

Yesterday it was the khabib mcgregor fight then next month it will be the next ppv

MMA dudes get a cut of PPV sales at different levels as they get more buys. At 2M buys I'd guess Conor is taking home $20M-$25M. I heard MMA people suggesting mfers getting 1M+ numbers get in the $10M+ range. So my guess is at least double that number insures your bank account is going up by $20M. Might hit $25M, $30M with the improved cut with better cut % tiers doe too.
Mcgregor will take home $50million if it clears 2million buys according to sources

How it can't be dominant when your opponent doesn't even have the chance to hit you back? If we talk about stand up fighting, then even a losing fighter always has a puncher chance. When you get punched on the ground and being controlled at the same time so you couldn't do nothing back, that's the definition of dominance since it makes you helpless.

I don't even say that in street fights good grapplers beat great strikers most of the time. Grapplers tend to have thick necks and good sense of balance which makes them able to take a good punch too.

The first round was boring though, because Khabib couldn't get in the good position to punch McGregor, but nothing was boring after that first round, the leprechaun took a beating on the ground in the second to the point when referee would be right to stop the fight. If grappling and GnP is not entertaining for you, it's alright but no way it's not dominant - a striker who's losing a round standing up has way more chances than a fighter who's on the ground getting beat up and his whole body is controlled to make sure he can't do any damage back.

Not even sure Conor took that round, if his name was "Iaquinta" that round would be given to Khabib. Tibau did better than Conor too.
