Whyte has never fought out of the UK, just like Joshua and doubt if it will change.
Whyte should be able to fight Ortiz on the under-card, especially if he wants to eventually fight Wilder or Fury.
I just want to see the fight, so wherever it happens, good. Hearn won't let Whyte fight anywhere else, so might as well forget it, especially if Ortiz has already agreed/signed for the undercard. Whyte doesn't even have his fight sanctioned yet so he could if he wants....but daddy Hearn will say no.
So Whyte should travel to be on an undercard for less money over fighting on PPV in a main event for a lot more money?
You should have been suffocated at birth.
How can you be contracted to fight on Wilder's undercard without an opponent? Why would you be contracted to fight on that bill? What are you talking about...
Mike Coppinger claims Joshua vs Povetkin did 15k on DAZN.
Shyte is better off being on a Showtime PPV if he wants to get name recognition in America.
He doesn't need any name recognition in America. He's making money and selling out arenas in the UK. Unlike American fighters. And hell, even they don't have any name recognition in their own country. Haha.
Because name recognition in America, in front of a Showtime PPV audience on the same card as Wilder, could lead to bigger money that he can bank down the road.
And who would Whyte fight to make more money in the US?
It sure won't be Wilder because he wants nothing to do with Whyte. He's scared to fight a fresh active fighter unless he gets a retirement cheque like the one he wants from Joshua even though he's a scrub who can't sell tickets and makes peanuts in comparison.
Doesn't he want exposure to an American PPV audience on the undercard of a fight for the lineal heavyweight championship of the world?
There are many subtle ways to duck an opponent. Refusing to fight 3 weeks earlier on a major show would qualify as one of them.
Really?? If he fights 3 weeks later he is
1 Headliner of his own card
2 paid more ighting on the 22nd
3 Always an advantage fighting at home
4 The same American audience that would have watched him on the 1st( including you) will definitely tune in as Americans hold Ortiz so highly they will still watch it 3 weeks later
5 No fighter wants to be an underling to a main event .especially someone you can’t stand
6 I believe the fight will be aired on BT sport which is a rival company to where Whyte fights even though it can be resolved but the money in the fight is not worth the negotiation s between the two sporting stations
So if Ortiz insists on the 1st and declines the 22nd can i apply that same logic to Ortiz or it only applies to Whyte?.... Ortiz should be campaigning for the 22nd. He will make more money and he will know that the majority of the people there are to watch his fight. Unlike the 1st he knows most people want his fight to finish quickly so they can watch the main event
Because Whyte/Ortiz would not happen as an undercard fight. So they should care, that fight would definitely get more noise as a main event. If you are Team Whyte you would not go from headlining a PPV to fighting on an undercard of a fighter who has never headline a PPV himself. So yeah for any reasonable fan who hopes this fight happens should pray they came to a deal to headline their own card, not be stuck fighting under some Chavez v TBA as a co-main event.
you guys are on another level, you uk fans have become the absolute worst fan base in boxing, of course not all; but this is some crazy sht yall have going on... this is getting out of hand, its literally non stop when it comes to making up some way to defend your fighters.
I'd love to see both guys fight. But seeing how wobbled Whyte got from Parker...I've got some bad news...
Yeah, when he was exhausted.
Ortiz works for one round he also becomes exhausted. All Whyte has to do is make Ortiz work for a few rounds to gas him out bad and then knock him out. Then all this undeserved hype will disappear.
I see this offer is on a contingency basis; That is if only Chisora refuses the fight. Now why would Chisora turn down that fight? It's not like he has many other options at this point of his career? Either Hearn make the Ortiz/Whyte fight or he won't.
Don't have Luis Ortiz twisting in the Goddamned wind. If you want that fight for Whyte just send the contract and then Luis Ortiz would sign it in a heartbeat.
However, we know that Eddie Hearn won't fancy the chance of ever doing that because he is such a big liar. That fight is too risky. It's a fight that Dillian Whyte just might lose.
So the safer bet is Chisora; Who is even more shopworn and diminished than the 49 year old Luis Ortiz. Hearn is probably attempting to put Ortiz on the under card of Chisora/Whyte.
Hearn has no problem making the Ortiz fight but Chisora takes priority because it's a bigger fight with plenty of people calling for it. Why go with the fight that has less demand first?
If Chisora does turn it down, then Ortiz will be the man. That's if he's willing to travel of course.
You’d rather see Chisora face Whyte than Whyte face Ortiz ?
Fans have been calling for the Chisora rematch pretty much as soon as the first one ended. It was a war from start to finish. Why wouldn't fans want to see that over Ortiz? It's the fight with the most demand whether you like it or not.
More nonsense from you. Don’t you ever do any research or you just run those gums and pray posters believe you?
Whyte made his debut in America last year........ you are welcome
