Whyte if he does fight in December it will be in Uk and probably against Chisora. He is not ducking Ortiz just taking a bigger fight for more money. If Chisora will not fight then he can fight Ortiz in Uk on a bigger money event for them both.

So why is Ortiz calling Whyte out: as he see's it as a quick route to AJ if he wins. Whyte has fought back to back top heavies, look at Ortiz's last fight. Maybe Whyte should just have an easy fight then fight AJ, but he is not ducking Ortiz when he has AJ lined up.

If he does fight Chisora or Ortiz then you have to give him credit for risking the AJ fight, but as above Ortiz is only calling him out as he wants the AJ fight. There is no route to Wilder as Breazeale is next and Wilder is fighting Fury.

If you are going to get beaten by a HW guy at least do it for the money. M
Maybe Ortiz should fight Breazeale to get the Wilder fight

Whyte should be able to fight Ortiz on the under-card, especially if he wants to eventually fight Wilder or Fury.

I just want to see the fight, so wherever it happens, good. Hearn won't let Whyte fight anywhere else, so might as well forget it, especially if Ortiz has already agreed/signed for the undercard. Whyte doesn't even have his fight sanctioned yet so he could if he wants....but daddy Hearn will say no.
Whyte just fought in the US just 3 fights ago so you don't know what you are talking about!! Also why on earth would he choose to fight on someones under card when he has the option to headline his own card and put it on PPV? Whyte gets paid PPV millions now.. Wilder and Fury can afford him in the undercard. If Anything Ortiz should be the one saying he wants to fight Whyte on Dec 22 for more money and headline his own show.

Mike Coppinger claims Joshua vs Povetkin did 15k on DAZN.

Shyte is better off being on a Showtime PPV if he wants to get name recognition in America.

He's probably more interested in money that he can actually bank than "name recognition in America"

I stand corrected, forgot about that one. A UK PPV Headline? No way could he do that in the US. He is barely even under-card material in the US. Guess he had better stay there if people are dumb enough to pay it.

                That's short sighted, then.

Because name recognition in America, in front of a Showtime PPV audience on the same card as Wilder, could lead to bigger money that he can bank down the road.

Thats nonsense, 15k?? never. It was free and with more than 2 million downloads of the DAZN USA app I dont belive it only did 15k. Eddie Hearn on IFL said Joshua vs Povetkin did just slightly less that views AJ used to get on showtime so I'm guessing it did around 300k. Whye vs Parker did more than 400k PPV, I doubt Wilder vs Fury can do that many buys. Also Whyte vs Parker sold out O2 arena in couple of days.. Wilder vs Fury is still yet to sell out.

Whyte (and Hearn) threw a fit when the WBC ordered he fight Ortiz last spring. Said it was unfair, they felt betrayed and annoyed. THEN said if anything, the WBC should order him to fight Breazeale instead.

So, I guess it wasn't unfair at all, just that he didn't want to fight Ortiz. NOW Hearn wants to make the fight? BS

You need to start making some desirable matchups after that trash that was shown last night with all those empty seats and 1,000 viewers on DeezNuts, you are horrible
