Whyte has never fought out of the UK, just like Joshua and doubt if it will change.
Whyte should be able to fight Ortiz on the under-card, especially if he wants to eventually fight Wilder or Fury.
I just want to see the fight, so wherever it happens, good. Hearn won't let Whyte fight anywhere else, so might as well forget it, especially if Ortiz has already agreed/signed for the undercard. Whyte doesn't even have his fight sanctioned yet so he could if he wants....but daddy Hearn will say no.
Whyte called him out to main event a show where both he and Ortiz will make a lot of money. If Ortiz chooses to fight a bum on an undercard instead, he's a ducking b itch, plain and simple.
I'd love to see this fight, just to see the argument put to bed. I would expect a dominant Dillian Whyte performance, haven't seen anything to suggest any different.
Why are so many American boxingscene posters special ed? They expect someone to fight for peanuts on an undercard, when the same fighters can make millions fighting a few weeks later. FFS. Sort out your education system America.
Will Ortiz take the fight or is Whyte using Ortiz to force Chisora to take 25%.... I'll go with the latter.
Think you’re right about this, Hearn is chucking Ortiz’s name about to force Del to sign. I imagine Ortiz is committed to the Dec 1 undercard and Hearn knows it. There’s probably an element of Hearn trying to ruin the Wilder Fury undercard too.
No chance that Whyte fights on the Dec 1 card, so no point discussing that. More money and benefit for him fighting in the U.K. at this point.
Im with the AJ fans on this one, Ortiz should scrap the undercard fight to main event his own ppv. Only issue is Hearn clearly stated that Chisora is the fight he wants. The Ortiz fight is a publicity stunt
