  • Whyte has got to be the most lucrative contender to fight and it is not close.

If you want £6M for getting battered by AJ that is. At the end of the month, the WBO name a mandatory and it will be Whyte. And AJ's next mandatory is the WBO! As mandatory challenger, even at purse, he will get 25% of 90,000 Wembley PPV. Say £6M / $8M. Assuming Eddie doesn't want it to go to purse for fear of losing it for DAZN, 30%+.

Why Whyte would commit to any fight before the WBO mandatory annoucement before the end of the month I don't know; probably because he will fight anybody and values being busy. For example, whilst Breazeale has waited for Beyonce, Whyte has savagely flattened Browne - massively increasing his stock - which lead to very lucrative PPV with Parker (one of the best nights of boxing in the UK this year).

For Ortiz, it is his only chance to get a shot at AJ. Miller should be doing this but he will get a shot without fighting anybody in the current top 10 (any belt or Ring) because he has a mouth and will sell tickets in the US. Plus, his style is tailor-made for AJ to crucify him.

It would make more sense for Whyte to be on the Wilder PPV if he wants the Wilder fight, that way he can call him out afterward, but money-wise he probably shouldn't give up his own PPV without a good purse.
Now this is a neutral comment and not smelling of a bird legs fangirl

NB: if Wilder beats Fury and fights AJ in April with a two-way rematch, won't the winner in APril will be stripped of the WBO for the rematch (unless even more juicy deal for the WBO mandatory to fight the winner after; daft step aside money).

        • I would rather see Ortiz vs. Breazeale on the Wilder vs. Fury PPV, or Ortiz vs. Whyte on the PPV, but Ortiz might be better off fighting Whyte in the UK on 12/22! Dominic Breazeale...MAN UP!

Why wouldn't you want to see a stacked card with Canelo, GGG, Pacquiao, Bud, Spence etc fighting on Whyte's undercard and even Wilder himself.

As a fan I actually wants to see these two fight. You on the other hand seem willing to excuse it if Ortiz gets ducked again.

Don't forget that the WBC ordered this matchup to happen once before already. But a certain party walked away.

              It wasn't King Kong.

First you call a boxer shyte when his name is Whyte, you have the guts to call yourself an unbiased boxing fan but you want to act like a child with name calling. No respect at all.

If me wanting Ortiz and Whyte to fight on their own card as headliners instead of being placed under another undercard with Jesus Chavez jr as a co-main to Wilder then please I hope that fight doesn’t happen on December 1st.

Again this is just for all those thicko who are more of a Wilder fanatics, if (That’s a big if) the Ortiz/Whyte fight can happen for December 22nd as its own main headliner then I hope and pray he doesn’t go ahead and fight v TBA on the December 1st card.

If you think fighting on an undercard as the third fight is better for both fighters career then you DKSAB. Whyte has just headline his own PPPV, Ortiz would be headlining a PPV card if that fight present itself. That is something any unbiased fan can not argue against.

Why would I respect him? When the WBC ordered the fight with Luis Ortiz he ran away.

Now Ortiz is inviting him to fight December 1 and he is looking to squirm away again.

How many roadblocks do you have to see him throw up before you admit he just simply doesn't want to face the man?

Your excuses is Ortiz, you don’t care about boxing or Ortiz. You care only about Wilder and that’s the reason most reasonable posters have zero respect for you or your fanatics mate and views.

The only reason you are negative is because people accuse Wilder of ducking Whyte, nothing else, and that hurt you guys feelings somehow.

If you care about boxing or Ortiz then you would want him to headline his own card, why would/should Ortiz be stuck under another card when he would headline his own?

Why should Ortiz play third fiddle to Chavez jr? If the December 22 fight present itself Ortiz would make more money, headline his own card, get up better ranking for beating a highly ranked opponent in Whyte and he would fighting on his own PPV.

Tell me if Ortiz is your brother you would expect him to fight on another undercard. Am asking the “Boxing fan” in you, not the Wilder fanatics in you.

If you can look up at yourself and tell me Ortiz is better placed (Career wise) fighting TBA on another undercard as the third fight, oppose to headlining his own PPV against a guy that is ranked high by all organisations then I don’t know what to tell you.
