The only thing debatable was the first knockdown. The ref probably should have jumped in between the fighters to separate them after Johnson got caught leaning through the ropes. Instead he just called break, pretty much as Beterbiev was already throwing a shot. It was unfortunate, and down to the referee IMO.

The rest of the fight was fine. Johnson fought well and exceeded expections, but ultimately was out-gunned.
