Good effort by Johnson. But Beterbiev regrouped well after the knockdown and put a beating on Johnson.

Would like to see Beterbiev against Kovalev, Alvarez or Bivol.

Johnson proved to be a big, tough guy.
My concern about Beterbiev is less about the KD and more about his looking sloppy this time out. He was slow to retract his hands after punching. Body work was garbage (in technique). And, he did some really predictable swaying to dodge shots. Stuff that better boxers could have countered easily.

I still think he's a really solid guy but I'm not sure that I can call him the most talented guy at 175 anymore. He's not as crisp and focused as he was say 2 years ago. Could be a bad camp. Maybe a tougher opponent. But, I hope he takes some high profile fights soon before getting any older.

Beterbiev was dropped by Jeff Page Jr earlier in his career.

Good fight by Beterbiev but if he tries to fight the big dawgs like Bivol and Kovalev like that he gets ko'd stiff.

I thought as it happened that Johnson’s caution after knocking down Beterbiev was smart. Now I’m thinking he should have thrown caution to the wind. No doubt Callum is thinking something similar

Nice scrap but that British guy stood no real chance.
