Bernard Hopkins would have fought Charlo at age 37 and beat him.

Who says the Murata fight is bigger?

Or he will go to the UK and fight Saunders if he beats Andrade.
I'm gonna guess Canelo also drops the belt when the time is due to fight Charlo, and fights GGG again instead for big $$$...

There is way too much money involved in other fights to take a $ 2 million fight against Charlo if you're Ggg. If you're Canelo, obviously the GGG fight is massive money but he gets paid handsomely anyway I'm guessing no matter who he chooses.
Murata just lost so he should no longer be an option.

Saunders is going to be suspended for 6 months by the WBO.

The Charlo fight has been mandated by the WBC. It should happen next.

Saunders probably isn't relevant any more - a risky fight for anyone in the division but without a strap can't see too many looking for that one. Brant doesn't bring enough money or recognition.... Charlo would be bigger than that, in fact right now the only bigger fight would be the Jacobs rematch assuming Danny gets past Sergei. Could go two ways - the Dazn offer is probably looking pretty attractive to Golovkin about now but if he were to fight and beat Jermall he might be able to negotiate something better. Problem is either route has its risks... Jacobs is a formidable fighter who gave GGG all he could handle when he was two years younger and signing with Dazn pretty much guarantees that fight. You gonna say Golovkins choosing the 'easy' path if he has to fight Jacobs over the less proven MW Charlo? Course if he doesn't fight either Charlo, Jacobs or Andrade and stays at 160 it'll be a bit of a let down.

                GGG wont fight him.

These guys arent afraid of GGG anymore. Theyve realized he cant produce the same results when he steps up to real competition. GGG has been overrated this whole time, anybody can knock out uber drivers.

GGG will fight another stiff. It will be some guy you never heard of before. I could think of atleast a dozen or so guys at middleweight. GGG will fight some guy I have to google.

I think that given he was looking at Murata next it should be pretty clear everyone that he's looking to cash out. Now that Murata is off the table I don't think he risks losing another opportunity at Canelo by risking a loss to Charlo.

That said I don't know what legitimate options are there for him that don't have risk.

Well yeah, now it should but the reality is he doesn't need to fight Charlo to get to Canelo. He can go to DAZN now and fight Andrade for his title then get Canelo or he can just go and fight Canelo. You really think the WBC is gonna strip Canelo? Worse case is they don't put that belt up for grabs and that's a long shot cause guess what, they wont get sanctioning tees from GGG side for the fight.

My guess Is they fight again in spring and Charlo takes a payoff then gets his shot late next year or early 2020.

It's looking like GGG has no choice but to fight Charlo now.
I don't think Brant would want to fight Glovkin for his first title defense.
The biggest question is would Charlo fight this monster?
Haven't seen him recently mention the potential of fighting the Kazakhstan superstar next.
He's been quiet. I wonder why.
