Its so funny to see the reactions now versus 10 years ago when another fighter was applauded for making smart business decisions. All of a sudden, some of the same people who were fine with smart business decisions, want to see the best fight the best because now the guy they like, is the one who is considered high risk/low reward. High risk/low reward was such a common phrase back then. I wonder what changed their minds.
Mr I'm not a businessman has already got stripped because of a business decision after he ducked dervy and will hide behind it's business to duck Charlo as well. More hypocrisy from Mr 154 or 168, aka Mr Mexican Style. LMAO
I think he passes on Charlo. He's paid his dues by fighting mandatories and is in the twilight of his career. Think he'll try to pursue bigger names if possible. I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to get Gilberto Ramirez, Callum Smith or BJS.
If he does take the fight, I seriously feel for Charlo. Dude has been a mandatory to a belt, and to the highest purse of his career, and now he has to fight Golovkin, who's just as dangerous for 1/3 the purse and no title? Dude would be getting the kind of shaft Eleider Alvarez got for 2 years.
Yeah he's a victim of bad timing. I feel sorry for him also then there is that magic word.... but..
He kind of did it to himself. He should have been more active and make himself impossible to ignore. People have suggested that but they get shouted down by the lunatic fringe on the board.
The WBC has ordered this fight to determine the mandatory for Canelo, who will have to face the winner next.
Do you think GGG will go through with this fight or will he choose an easier opponent?
Have we heard anything from Jermall since the WBC announcement? Do we know that he wants to fight Golovkin now that the belts aren't there and the payday may be less? I'm not for a second saying that he doesn't but it's interesting that the question was asked about Golovkin's willingness to fight but not Jermalls.
The question manages to imply that the determining factor in Golovkin's choice of opponent will be the ease of the fight rather than either the revenue or any title attached to them which is the normal reason why one fight is chosen over another. Why is this?

It's a simple question my dude. Do you think Golovkin will fight Charlo next, yes or no?

If you're asking whether that fight happens next - which would be the neutral way of asking it - then my answer would be 50 / 50. It's a fight I'd like to see, in fact probably the fight I'd like to see most at 160 but I ain't gonna indulge in your loaded questions, man. There's a lot of legitimate reasons why fights don't happen, man, not just because one of the fighters wants an easier fight.

The WBC has called for it. And it would be two of the best talents at middleweight fighting each other.
It would be great for the fans.
But my question is if you think Golovkin will agree to take the fight? You still haven't answered that.
