Do some research on the WBC & "Canelo" (Relationship) before you say something like that bruh.

GGG vs Canelo #1 was a voluntary as far as the WBC was concerned.

GGG vs Canelo #2 was a mandatory. So, as a mandatory challenger having just won the title, Canelo has time to make his first mandatory.

They're not going to strip him unless he tries to go all of next year without fighting Charlo. As long as he fights Charlo by the end of 2019, he'll be fine. But I don't think GBP will let him anywhere near Charlo, so it seems inevitable that he'll vacate.

Think we heard that same **** about Trout, Lara, Golovkin... I'm no fan of Canelo but the dudes not afraid to fight anyone. If he wants the fight, he will get it.

No reason to strip Canelo, but GGG vs Charlo in the meantime sounds perfect.

I think its a good chance that the reason Canelo is moving up is to give him some options from fighting all these killers at 160. Its a deep ass division right now & 168 is pretty top heavy with less experienced guys. So that being the case I think its very possible his move will be to give up that belt in the near future to avoid being forced to fight some of these mfers he may not match up well with. However you think Canelo did vs GGG, he won closely or he lost clearly, doesn't bold well for him vs some of these mfers who are becoming players at 160.

Doubt it'll happen THAT soon doe. I think Canelo won't even be forced into a mando or dump the belt situation til Charlo vs GGG happens & who knows if that will happen at all. I think there are probably better options out there for GGG to so he might use some of his options too to avoid fighting these young hungry lions.

Its still a free fight for him. I not sure why anyone would want a fighter who just fought and won the championship against a guy who ruled division for yrs to be stripped of the title by business men who fook over fighters constantly. Seems extremely shady to me. I have kids who box and know many others who box and i wouldnt think that would be right to happen to any fighter in same circumstance. Dude should actually be applauded for taking another fight so close to the last fight he had which was an extremely draining tough fight. Hell most fighters today would take off for a yr lol
