Canelo is takeing a risk here if he cant stop Rocky he will take some big punches himself ,Rocky can punch , have decent hand speed and power ,overall Fielding is solid fighter ,Canelos skills should be enough to overcome Rocky's size ,it will be interesting how Canelo will approach this fight ,will he go all out mexxxican style or will he box with fielding which is not a good idea.

No it's a secondary belt that doesn't make you the best with the WBA. Canelo winning adds a notch on his legacy just like Roy beating Ruiz for the heavyweight title looks great on his resume but nobody said Roy was the best heavyweight he was too small and moved back down afterwards. Canelo is taking a voluntary and will be back down at 160 after this fight. It's pure hypocrisy to kill this belt at the same time using that same belt to inflate a bogus defense streak that GGG has as if his streak is the same as Hopkins LMAO

I'm just glad it took canelo fighting fielding for GGG fans to finally admit that the WBA Regular belt doesn't hold weight. That means GGG didn't really have 20 defenses record. Since he didn't actually win a major belt until he beat Geale in 2014 and has only actually had 9 real defenses which is nothing special.

Canelo must be afraid of Jermall and Jaime at 160 to make a move like this.

Typical red balls. Don't move up to 168 and fight the best and actually win. Move up and fight someone no one has ever ****ing heard of EVER.

Same title you brag about to inflate GGG bogus defense streak? How many people know any of the bums GGG beat? Who knew dominic Wade and the rest of the bum of the month GGG padded his record with? Canelo is fighting a world champ and top 10 ranked 168lber. GGG has beaten only 5 opponents who ever won a world title. He's better then 80% of GGG entire resume certainly better then retired 154lb vanes coming off a loss, 2 year layoff and only 1 win in the last 4 years who GGG dragged up to 160...and oh yeah canelo is doing what GGG lied to you said he would you remember 154 or 168. LMAO

So then you admit GGG didn't have 20 record defenses that was a bogus lie and GGG really had a unremarkable 9 defenses because that's when we actually had a belt everyone recognizes? I love GGG fans even they realize GGG resume is trash and that more then half his so called defenses are a fraud because that secondary belt no one recognizes.

Canelo put you in a bind you can't trash fielding without exposing the one thing GGG is known for on his pathetic resume. LMAO

Let's see how you twist yourself in a pretzel to get out of that one

I hope he doesn't demand a catchweight, 168 lbs must be difficult enough for Fielding at 6ft 1in. I'm same height an similar frame to him and would probably look like a P.O.W. if I got to 168 - I'd certainly have about as much strength as one. No idea how Zurdo and Smith get down to the weight as they're even taller.
