TBH I didn’t expect him to return so soon. I expected may 2019 so I’ll take this non PPV event just to fill the gap. Almost like a free-be. Well deserved. Although I want to see him fight Charlo, Charlo doesn’t deserve the opportunity. Charlo should fight Lemieux and the winner gets Cinco de Mayo Canelo.

Would rather have seen Canelo vs Lemieux at 160 for sure but I have no issue with a gimmie fight for Canelo, the guy is coming off 2 fights with the top guy at 160.

But here's what's wrong with boxing. Like the 10th best guy at 168 has a title and now Canelo will hold claim to being a titlest at another weight class after this fight when he's fighting a guy who got sparked in 1 by the real champion of 168.

So two things. 1. GGG spent his whole career at '60 and never went to 168 to fight for a title fight but Canelo took his belts and is already going to 168 that's crazy lol. 2. What happened to Oscar saying for a while that canelo isn't a true MW and now he's about to have his second fight above 160 while guys who've fought at '60 longer than Canelo haven't went up yet lol
