Fielding is currently top 10 ranked by boxrec, Ring, ESPN ect at 168 and Canelo is giving up weight and height. For a voluntary defense on a quick turn around from GGG. Fact Fielding is a better more dangerous opponent then 80% of the guys GGG has faced including the bum he just dragged out of retirement and forced to move up weight just this May. GGG fans because GGG said for years 154 or 168 and after 2 fights at 160 Canelo about to grab a belt at 168 BEFORE GGG. GGG talks it Canelo lives it. World champ at 154, 160 and now 168. LMAO

bro..this fight sucks ass. and that strap Fielding has isn't no damn world title. its meaningless. if GGG was to move up to fight Fielding you would be blasting him. lets stay consistent. its a voluntary aka cherry pick. that's all there is nothing more to see here.

A cherry pick is a cherry pick. Fielding is nowhere near Canelo's league, doesn't matter that he is 168 and Canelo is moving up, this is a fight that no one wants to see. He could have at least fought Lemieux or Andrade if he isn't going to fight his mandatory Charlo.

Still, good play by Canelo - Fielding may not be that good but Canelo's definitely building a legacy here, by adding even an iffy title at SMW.

But he has a mandatory named Charlo, and there is also Lemieux. At Canelo's level I am not sure why he is reaching down this low to find an opponent. I get that it's a stay busy fight and a title at 168, but for all his chest pounding and claims to want to fight the best, this is a bad look.
