What does this fight have to do with him going to or not going to SHO? Where exactly is this fight going to take place on?
And again, if I am Canelo, I don't sign with anyone. Go network to network and don't lock yourself in with any LT-deal.Comment

I didn’t see anyone say he was going to showtime. There was a thread about predictions is all I recall.
There is bad blood between Oscar and Showtime. Just because 1,2,or 3 people say it doesn’t mean everyone feels that way smh. Majority said he shouldn’t sign with anyone if we’re being honest. They stole all of Oscar fighters and almost made GBP go bankrupt why would Oscar go back?Comment

Looking at reporting from Fat Boy Dan just this morning sounds like Showtime might be the leading candidate because they are not doing a co-promotion deal with Arum or Hearn. They want a deal directly with a network where Golden Boy will be the only promoter. Also sounds like the deal will have to be for Canelo and Golden Boy. Here are a couple note worthy quotes from Fat Boy Dan's piece.

De La Hoya told ESPN on Monday night that he is talking to a variety of outlets interested in the services of Alvarez, the biggest pay-per-view attraction in boxing.
"In the next couple of weeks we will have a major announcement and it will be great for boxing, great for Canelo and great for Golden Boy. We are talking to everybody," De La Hoya said.
De La Hoya was responding to comments made by promoters such as Bob Arum of Top Rank and Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn about their efforts to sign Alvarez to a co-promotional deal with Golden Boy in order to have Alvarez to fight on the platforms they have deals with. Top Rank is tied to ESPN and Matchroom Boxing with sports streaming service DAZN.
"I won't do a deal with Bob Arum or a deal with Eddie Hearn for Canelo," De La Hoya said. "I'm going to go directly to the [platform] and make a deal. I don't need another promoter. We are the promoter of the biggest star on the planet."Comment
