His only good win is Maidana in that frame. He then lost to Lamont and went straight into a Danny Garcia fight where he got stopped...with Roach. Khan was supposed to beat every fighter he beat til he reached Lamont.

If you just look at the trajectory of both of their careers, that fight NEVER made sense for Floyd. I’m just going to focus on the money aspect, the more lucrative fight for Floyd to take.

Just look at who Floyd fought rather than fighting Khan. Keep in mind, what Floyd perceived the fans that his “opponents” could generate.

Khan is garbage when compared to anyone at 147. What has he done at 147?
The only reason he left 135 was because he got KO'd and blamed his weight.
The same reason he left 140
The same reason he dropped down from 154

Khan is the loudest at 147 and has yet to do anything relevant other than fighting tomato cans who he struggles against.

Maidana didnt get starched and went on to beat a p4p ranked fighter.

Khan did not.

Khan has been knocked out in every division he’s fought. He has more knockout losses than he does good wins. He has more knockdowns/outs than major world titles.

Khan was better with Virgil than than he was with Roach. He got a decent win against Maidana but that’s it. Oh and he “gave as good as he got” against Pac in sparring.
