I wish one of the top guys besides Wilder would give Ortiz a chance. His one common opponent he had with Wlad (Jennings) showed he is a force to be reckoned with, then everyone ran scared.

Now we hear all the lame excuses. He brings nothing to the table, who has he beat, etc. If everyone thinks he is so old, why not lace em up? You can compare how they did compared to how Wilder did.

IMO the most skilled HW in the division, with power and a southpaw to boot.

And Ortiz is fighting on the Wilder/Fury undercard on December 1st. Its easy to offer someone something when they know he is locked into an event already. Why can't Whyte do Dec.1st? Much more exposure for him. By far the biggest event of the year.

Maybe locked in wasn't the correct word, but was offered and agreed to fight on the under-card. Who wouldn't want to be a part of the biggest fight of the year? Whyte has nothing finalized, so the ball is in his court. Watch Whyte squirm out of it.

You realise you have no argument as to why a fighter would rather fight on an undercard for peanuts instead of a main event on PPV. Only reason is to duck.

You say no top fighter will fight him and then come up with pathetic excuses for why he'd turn down a PPV fight against a top HW. Pathetic.

My point is he has 3 managers. The reason they aren’t meeting Hearn isn’t because they’re too busy with this fight between three of them one of them can free up some time. They don’t want to meet until the numbers for the fury fight come back and tbh that’s not something I have a problem with.

Yeah, that is exactly why their not meeting, makes perfect business sense. I was just pointing out that they as boxing managers are employed by Wilder and even if they were free they'd still need Wilder's approval to have a meeting, where as a promoter can just go out and have any meeting he wants and then present the fight and the deal to his fighter.
