      That didn't happen.

Instead, Eddie decide to deal with Parker, giving him 33%.

If Parker is worth 33% then, Wilder was definitely worth 40% for a September fight, which is what he asked for.

Instead, in a fight that would have been worth (by most sane folk's estimate) 60M in the UK and 100M in the US, Hearn offered 15M.

Those are facts, and everyone but AJ fanboys can see them clearly
How can an estimate be a fact? It doesn't work.

Parker was worth 33% when AJ was a two belt Champion now AJ is a three belt champion Wilder did nothing so 33% would probably have been a good offer for Wilder and could have probably rinsed AJ for 35%. Wilders only worth 40% post Fury.

What does Wilder bring to the table?

Made alot of noise and got alot of fans both hardcore and casual now saying they want the fight.. absolutely categorically next . He's had his hand forced by wilder being so loud and making such a public thing about the fight .. he is now seen my many as Joshua's only legitimate contender.

Anyone would think he's a promoter or something.. trying to secure the most money for himself and his stable whilst cutting costs to others.
Now he finds himself in a position where he has to offer a correct split and percentage in order to make that fight.

He either secures it and the gravy rolls in.
He doesn't offer it.. and ticket sales and public opinion turn against him and AJ further.
He offers it.. it gets turned down, and he can say look I offe we something completely fair and they still said no. Bringing public perception back to that of Joshua .

You're kind of undermining and slagging off wilder here to get at Hearn lol.

You're saying wilder has done nothing.. Hearn is just a liar!! Whereas wilder has actually done alot.. and hearns happy to admit it too as he has the last few weeks

Hearn has explained it all. He was asked if he wanted the fight and his response was “for the deal we made, we wanted the fight” which to me means “if you accept this low (still 4x his career high payday) offer we want thefight. Anything higher than no thanks”

Nothing has changed but aj said he wants wilder next so obviously Hearn has to do what it takes to make the fight.

Duh, Hearn was always ducking Wilder.

I don't necessarily think AJ was. I just think he let's Hearn do his thinking for him.

The idea that Wilder should've just accepted a bullshxt offer because it would be the most he ever made is ridiculous. It'd be like LeBron James accepting $20,000 a year to play in the NBA because it's a lot more than he ever made when he was poor.

You pay people what they're worth, not how much they made in the past.

Of course. You don't have to be extremely smart to have seen it.

Personally I always thought the flat fee was a bad offer, but we don't even know what split he has offered this time, who says it's any better, he might of offered Wilder 10% for all we know.

And why criticise him for making another offer, should he just sit twiddling his thumbs refusing meetings or any discussions on the fight like Finkel? Though to be fair to Finkel Hearn's demand it must be done before Wilder/Fury is BS and I'm glad Finkel refused to meet him, Hearn knows damn well there will be no chance of any negotiations until after the Fury fight.

But the way fans on both sides are twisting things to win points over the other fighters fans on forums is pathetic. Doesn't seem either of them is serious right now about negotiating a fight and I don't expect things to get any clearer or any progress to be made until after Wilder/Fury, any posturing before that is just that, posturing.

What he did was try and get wilder to sign onto an agreement that he would never sign, to keep it in the media and to try and start the buildup between a wilder-joshua match.

Any offer that comes before the Wilder-Fury fight has taken place is just posturing.

If Wilder wins, he will be in a MUCH better negotiating position. Both sides know this, and this is why Wilders side would never consider signing anything until after the fight.
