My thoughts exactly, fights take time to get made as we can see with Floyd vs Manny, hopefully it doesn't take that long, but just because one person wants the fight, doesn't make it happen right away.

Well, not going to compare this fight to Floyd/Manny, but it weird how everyone just automatically blames Mikey. Seems like the Wilder/Fury fight is the biggest culprit for it not happening this year.

I've noticed that Mikey's tendency a long time ago, way before he even mentioned Spence. I wasn't being vocal about it, because, well...I thought I might be wrong and Mikey is really doesn't have any luck with making these fights happening. I thought it definitely looks fishy but it might be not Mikey's fault at all. But when he called out Spence...Man, just right after that I 've stopped taking his call outs seriously. I knew no way this fight will happen but deep down I was expecting Spence to agree, because Mikey's tendencies was getting annoying. I was still silent, I knew this won't happen but I've decided to give Mikey one last pass but I was still amused seeing posters who really thought it's about to go down. When I've seen that headline about Commey fight I was laughing so ****ing loud, because it turned out that I was right all this time, I knew something like that supposed to happen. When it was announced there's talks for Spence fight I remember I was thinking like "Damn, Mikey got to pull out of this situation somehow he ain't fighting Spence". And it happened. Ha ha, now I don't plan on giving passes to Officer Mikey anymore. I don't feel like I have to, since I was right about this whole situation and predicted the outcome

A small part of me really wanted to believe him. I love when fighters dare to be great and i liked mikey. Had he called out spence and actually went through with it, win or lose i wouldve been a mikey fan for life. Im sure many people who are mikey fans have had enough of his sht and like me, jumped off the mikey bandwagon.

Mikey to my knowledge has called out spence, thurman, cotto, lomo, pacman, gamboa and didnt fight any of the guys he called out. Did i miss anyone? im DONEEE with his bs!

Completely agree, I was all for this fight. An elite fighter taking the ultimate risk and jumping up multiple weight classes hoping their skill can overcome size/weight disadvantage is something I’ve always praised. However it seems Mikey is all talk and no action.

Hard to compare two guys who've fought almost nobody to Floyd and Manny.
When 2 guys both want a fight, usually the fight happens. When one of those guys is just throwing out names to look like he wants the toughest fights, then the fights dont happen.

Spence would sign in two seconds to give Garcia a beatdown

I'm just saying that nobody knows who's fault it is or what happens if they do end up fighting next year, I'm just saying that neither guy is retiring anytime soon, so hopefully the fight does happen and the best man wins.
