Nonito was as high as #4. in the P4P that same year fool! Hell you would of said Donaire was a bum back then too!

sorry to spoil the party in this thread but to me thats not an elite win, theres at least 20 boxers with a better win than that on their records

You cant even name twenty lineal champions ; yeah I'm referring to Omar Narvaez in case you missed it. You cant swim in this depth, go back to the Wilder-Fury threads buddy.

Inoue seems to have all the tools and for a while he was fighting guys that werent inspiring but now he has the big stage and I'm finding it hard to believe there is anyone in the WBSS who can beat him. There are a lot of good fighters in the WBSS too. But his take no prisoners style with boxing skills and power mean hell to the other guys in the WBSS. I think he will win it. Nice tournament:

            Naoya Inoue
            Emmanuel Rodriguez
            Ryan Burnett
            Zolani Tete
            Jason Moloney
            Nonito Donaire
            Juan Carlos Payano

boxing experts and fans are high on inoue
because he not only beats his opponents, he obliterates them. guys who have never been KOed in their careers.

less than 30 seconds in, mcdonnell was already wobbly from a punch that grazed the top of his head.

donaire (in his prime) and tete decisioned narvaez in sleepfests. inoue destroyed him, to the point of narvaez complaining there was something foreign inside of inoues gloves, because he had never been hit that hard in his career.

anyways, inoue is joining this tourney to show people like you and the world what he can do.

i suspect the haters just joined the inoue conversation recently.
but the japanese media has long reported that inoue has always had trouble getting fights.
in 2017, before superfly, he was constantly calling out chocolatito. but chocolatito flat out avoided him for a year, until he lost to SSR. yafai/eddie hearn also turned down inoue. and ancajas turned down inoue (saying he’s not ready yet).

inoue made it clear that nieves was his last fight as fly, because he can't make the wgt anymore.
SSR wasn’t even on anyones radar before the 1st chocolatito fight. so if he wants the monster he should move up.. yet he’s never even mentioned inoue. so it’s not even a relevant discussion.

You named yourself after golovkin; whose fought like 1 A fighter which he didnt beat and 1 B+ fighter who he struggled to beat in 38 fights. Inoue fights unified champ taguchi; someone who hadnt lost in years let alone been stopped in omar narvaez before he even hit 10 fights. Knocked out a world champ in kohei kono Beat a guy who weighed around 14lbs on him and was undefeated in 10 years in jamie mcdonell and is already a 3 weight world champion in less that 16 fights. It doesnt take a genius to see inoue is a phenom and a prodigy. He hits people with such force and accuracy that they fold like a lawn chair. So stop undermining a future legend and perhaps the best japanese boxer ever (who hasnt even hit his prime yet) whilst loving up someone who fought bums 75% of his career (golovkin)
I dont subscribe to the GGG hate, but this is a good summary of Monster's career - except it even misses Hernandez, who was a solid champ.

I've got Inoue as #3 P4P. Have had him above one-division dudes like GGG for years.

Im getting DAZN just based on the tourney. If its Monster v Tete, that will be a true fight fans event.

He's the best and he'll smash anyone they put in front of him, up to bantam at least. Never have I seen such a destructive fighter that shows ZERO emotion. Is he even human? He's a true phenomenon that I know. The no.1 most exciting fighter in the world imo. When Inoue lets his hands go, that's when the hurt begins.

Hes not as busy or savage as other dudes, but he's like impending doom slowly, relentlessly pressing the opponent against the ropes.

The one thing that disappointed me is he didnt fight any of the top guys at SupaFly, but these matches across boxing hemispheres are hard to make.

Other than that, I dont see whats not to like. He takes dudes out.
