Yeah he forgot to mention Mikey called out Cotto at 154 as well. If he would have actually followed through he would have made history and beaten Cotto with that torn bicep, beaten linares and ko’d Matthysse and have completed that 3 fight deal without GBP and have made history and become a bigger star than he is now. He does want the Spence fight more, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want both fights.

With Wilder vs Fury being a PPV, Mikey vs Spence wasn't realistic for 2018. Why not get the IBF mando out of the way to preserve the possibility of an undisputed fight with Loma? Even if he fights Spence and loses, he can still do an undisputed fight with Loma as long as he gets this IBF mando in now.

I thought it's just Mikey being Mikey, but it's a lot of complicated misfortunes prevents him from taking big fights again. Damn, why it happens with Mikey all the time. That’s a 12 month commitment not a long term one. His lack of any commitment is biting him at PBC. So much he and his family complained about their treatment vs broner and Easter and the lack of respect.

But that’s what he gets for not signing with Haymon either. He can’t expect people to make huge investments in him without the ROI making sense.
