      Why hasn't Hurd-Charlo happened yet?

I mean that fight should be on the Wilder-Fury undercard FFS.

They had 6 months to set it up but NOPE.

Didn’t Hurd have some kind of surgery?

I thought Hurd was recovering from an injury but not sure

            Re

Lara/Williams is a good fight. I would give the edge to J-Rock.

Talk about being between a rock and a hard place...Whether it’s Lara or Hurd, Williams is up against it here. Fighting the Japanese guy is probably the easier way out, but J-Rock is a throwback, and a guy who wants to fight the best, to be the best. Good luck to him.

Look at it this way. Beating Lara only gets you to Charlo, and you have to beat him as well to get the title. Beating Inoue is the easiest task and you never know how much longer Hurd will want to stay at 154. He already has mentioned once he unifies against Charlo, he will be going up. Gotta go the IBF route if you are JRock.

Styles make fights and I think Lara's style is just all wrong for Charlo. The Trout fight proved my assumptions for me. He had a very time hard finding his timing and Trout had no trouble hitting Charlo at all.
Trout was fighting to survive man. He had no interest in engaging. He's a tough guy to get out of there fighting that way.
