Therefore, I don't expect his body to hold up or be at full strength against Wilder once his body starts absorbing trauma from him. His strategy is to run out the clock like he did against Klitschko and win on the scorecards.

The body can only take so much trauma before it slowly starts breaking down. That's what I expect in this fight. Undoubtedly Fury will have his moments but after a while, his body is going to slowly shut down and deteriorate to the point of Deontay catching him and knocking him out.
I think we have limits physically... No 60 year old is getting in there and competing with prime guys as a professional and even if he is, he would be diminished as compared to being 20.

BUT remember something. Fighters, when they were fighters, would drink and carouse and throw lots of punches a round, guys like Greb for example. I think these habits hurt us but don't necessarily destroy as and some get by.

Fury was a very wealthy man and the heavyweight champion of the world. That's a life most men would love to have but can only dream about. Poor Fury became depressed and addicted to drugs alcohol and overeating. To me this is a man who is mentally weak not mentally strong. He finally stopped doing the self destructive things he was doing and started doing what he should do. Good for him. That does show willpower and mental strength. It does not show more will power or mental strength than champions like AJ and Wilder who never stopped training hard and taking care of their bodies to achieve their goals.

Why should a man who became an addict and gained a huge amount of weight for two years and came back from all that get more respect than a man who did the right things and never went down that self destructive path?

If Fury wins it will be one of the greatest boxing comebacks ever. I'm a big fan of his but I just don't see him winning after not being in a challenging fight for 3 years now. Maybe he will surprise me, I definitely hope he will. If he beats Wilder he is #1 again.

Have you seen Fury's last two fights? He looks like dog ****. The first one a cruiswerweight took a dive after 4 rounds of sparring and the second was a 10 round sparring session with a small fat guy.

Wilder is an active top level fighter, not a paid sparring partner to give Fury some practice.

If Deontay is smart, he will go to the body on Fury, his body is always soft, even in his prime it was, that will hurt his mobility, wear him down and also protect Deontay's hands. Deontay usually head hunts but maybe with Fury being a taller guy it will give him the opportunity to work his soft body.
