Ok if you dumb assess knew anything about boxing you would know that mickey is not fighting Spence because of promoter and the fact that they are in two completely different weight classes. That's like saying ggg is scared because he doesn't want to get in the ring with deontay wilder. Garcia did just beat Easter. Correct me if I'm wrong but y'all said Easter was going to hand him his lunch..... what happened? Also Garcia has won titles in 3 different weight classes. pretty sure it's not him who is ducking anyone. I wish some of you would get educated in the art of boxing and the business of professional sports

LMAO first of all. Mikey was the one calling out Spence. Second of all, yes he did fight Easter. However, I cannot recall anyone saying Easter was going to beat him. Easter? The guy who struggled and was given questionable decisions in 3 of his last 4 fights leading up to Mikey. LOL


Mikey is calling out names but then not fighting them. It has been an ongoing trend with him.

No problem with him ultimately staying at 135 that is what I hoped for personally. This is the right move, keep his WBC and IBF 135 Straps, fight Commey and call out Loma hard after the fight! That fight should happen 2019!

Clearly the people in his inner circle told him a Spence fight is insane right now, maybe a year from now, but not now.

Stay at 135, knock out the mandatory, and go after Lomo in a very winnable and lucrative fight in the spring, this fight means he is fighting lomo next, this is great news.

He has a LOT of explaining to do! He said on many occasions his number ONE priority was to fight Spence. You dont yell off the rooftops your only goal is to fight Spence and then meet with your inner team! You meet with your team first! This is what Mikey does, call out fighters and then doesnt fight them. It's gotten old fast!

It's not uncommon for Mikey to do this. I get it if he's talked about a commitment to be undisputed at 135 but he hasn't. He's talked more about wanting a big fight at welterweight and that his future lies north of 135.

I stopped being a fan of his a while back when I saw him call for fights and then take far less pleasing fights when offered what he asked for. The Spence talk was so apparent yet people wanted to give him credit just for talking about it now he signs to fight Commey. Like I said if Mikey had said "My goal is to be undisputed at 135" I'd support that but he's always shot down the Loma fight as an option and doesn't think it can happen.

Like I said disappointing but hardly out of the norm.
