You all are tripping Mikey and Spence aren't fighting because Wilder and Fury made a PPV in December and there was no more dates or money until next year in the mean time Mikey is staying busy with his mandatory thats how boxing is supposed to be if mandatories never get there shot there wouldn't be some of the champs we've had in history. If anything this setups a fight between him and Lomachenko for next year which is another elite fight so no one should be complaining.

Commey is a tough, solid contender. I have no problem with this fight. Lomachenko is already booked fighting Pedraza in December, and a fight against Spence is still a ways off.

Yup! No $$$$ to do the PPV fight with Spence in December. Might as well get that mandatory put of the way. It was going to a bid today and he would of lost the belt of he didnt accept. This way its on HIS terms...

Mikey got the boxing world talking because what excited him the most was a fight against Spence... nobody will blame him for not having that fight next, but nobody expected him to even put that thought in our minds. Sadly, there seems to be a trend here.

High possibility he gets loma next as they will be both available on their next fight. That’s the only positive thing I can see in this move.
If he fights spence now and gets battered(he will) the loma fight wouldn’t carry as much weight as it should.

Look at who loma is fighting next and Loma hasn't faced an elite fighter his whole career that belonged in the same weigh class. And no GRJr and Walters aren't elite.
